The Ideas

below is the thought process of which my group and i went through to pick our topic for the documentary, we had 3 initial ideas of which we would have liked to pursue.

The first was Arab Up bringing; the difference between educated and non educated arabs and how this would affect the future the person as well as the economy of the country, we decided against using this idea as our message might be misinterpreted and our audience may take offence.

the second idea was mistreatment of animals; filming the souq and how they have coloured animals, the street dogs and cat aswell as hit and runs and competitions suchs as horse and camel races,we felt this has a strong message however once again taking into consideration the sensitivity of the message this will be avoided. 

Our third and final idea is Diabetes, This is the idea we decided to go forward with.we will be doing interviews and seeking information for ways to prevent diabetes and support for those with it, we will be looking into the different reasons hide it and how it could be prevented,we chose to use this as our documentary because we feel it has a strong message which can be understood by all audiences of all cultures.
